Temporary Safeguarding Payments
Could your pharmacy be eligible for Temporary Safeguarding Payments?
Temporary Safeguarding Payments (TSPs) are designed to support pharmacies where changes in prescribing behaviour, such as a move towards longer-duration prescriptions, result in increased purchasing costs and reduced dispensing activity.
TSPs are not paid automatically. Eligible contractors must submit a claim for affected months, which means payments may be missed if eligibility is not reviewed.
